Swingaroo Sisters

The Swingaroo Sisters are a 1940’s themed vocal harmony trio based in the North West of England. Their harmonies are as tight as a girdle and as smooth as the finest silk stockings.

The Swingaroo Sisters

Formed back in November 2008, having been inspired by the music at a local Burlesque night, the original line-up of Lorraine Jenkins, Cat Moore and Steph Bentham set to work on a collection of WWII era classics, arranging beautiful three part harmonies in the style of The Andrews Sisters. The set soon grew, incorporating dance routines and vintage costumes, and the girls began to perform at local private parties, corporate events and charity functions.

In Feb 2010, Steph left the group and they now have Elizabeth Dennis stepping up to the mic in her place.

The girls are the resident house band at The Swingaroo Vintage Dancehall in Preston, where they please audiences with not only their 1940’s set, but are extending their songs to include 50’s hits too.
